According to the American Physical Therapy Association, "prevention, wellness, and disease management has moved into the forefront of health over the past decade as research continues to show the significant benefits of lifestyle changes on health. Lifestyle changes, including increased physical activity, can lead to health benefits in those with chronic disease, prevent or manage a number of noncommunicable diseases, and lead to an increased quality of life".
Here at Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, we offer a integrative health, prevention, wellness and disease management program promoting optimal function, performance, health, and wellness, combining a whole person approach with evidence-based movement and tissue integration strategies to minimize dis-ease risk by tuning around lifestyle behaviors and to help you transition into a more independent workout regimen while still being assisted by one of our licensed physical therapists and licensed physical therapy assistant.
